Fees on Delivery (FOD)

The FOD Collections (Fees on Delivery) feature allows merchants or shippers to request that predefined amounts be collected from the recipient in the event that a shipment is refused by the recipient.
It allows merchants or shippers to recover delivery costs even if the recipient does not accept the shipment.

What It Does

  • Applies FOD per Governorate: Merchants or shippers can set specific fees to be collected for each Governorate in the event that the recipient refuses delivery.
  • Generates Cash Collection Requests: When the courier reaches the recipient’s address and the shipment is refused, the system automatically creates a Cash Collection Request.
  • Tracks Collections: Merchants or shippers can monitor whether the FOD fees were successfully collected through their ShipBlu account.

How It Works

  • Go to the "Fees on Delivery" inside your ShipBlu account.
  • Add the governorates you wish to activate the FOD service for, and define the amount to be collected in the event that the shipment is refused for each governorate added.
  • The service will starting from the following business day.
  • You can monitor FOD collections through the normal order tracking view.
