The Sub-Accounts feature is designed to make life easier for merchants with multiple brands operating under one master brand.
Why This Feature Was Created
Previously, shipping from individual accounts caused inconsistent pricing, as each account operated independently with different volumes, thus, different discount rates. On the other hand, using a single account led to one combined statement, invoice, and payout for the merchants under one business, making it hard to track and manage finances for each account.
With the Sub-Accounts feature, we’re solving these problems by:
Providing unified pricing: Ensuring consistent pricing across all sub-accounts under the main account.
Separating billing and payouts: Allowing merchants to have separate statements, invoices, and payouts for each sub-account.
The header in the Sub-Account will display the Main Account logo (e.g. Powered by Main Account Name) so everything stays transparent and connected.
The main account will have a Sub-Accounts tab in the side menu listing all sub-accounts, providing full visibility.
