"Try & Buy" feature allows you to offer you customers the option to partially receive a shipment. Customers can choose to keep one or more items from the shipment and return the rest at delivery.
This feature provides flexibility to customers and helps you reduce refusals while ensuring proper payment for received items.
What It Does
- Product Details Visibility: you can see all shipment details from the shipment card on ShipBlu system.
- Partial Payment Updates: If a customer accepts only part of the shipment, the collected amount is updated automatically, and the shipment timeline shows the adjusted amount.
- Returned Items Tracking: A separate shipment ends with a TB suffix is created for items not accepted by the customer, allowing you to monitor the return flow.
- Customer Notifications: Customers receive messages about shipment details and confirmation of the items they choose to keep, including the updated total amount.
How It Works
- Go to ShipBlu App from Shipblu App> Settings and enable:
“Allow ShipBlu to collect products data for Try & Buy Feature.”
- The feature will apply only to shipments sent after activation.
- When an shipment is sent to ShipBlu, you will see the Product Details in the shipment card.
- If the customer accepts only part of the shipment:
- The collected amount is updated automatically.
- The timeline shows: “COD Change (old price was X to new price Y)”.
- A new TB shipment is created for returned items.
- Customers receive a message with the shipment is eligible for ShipBlu Buy & Try service.
- At delivery, the customer chooses items to keep, the courier confirms, and the customer receives a WhatsApp message with confirmed items and the updated price.
