ShipBlu Shield Packages

 Please note that if none of the ShipBlu Shield insurance  plans are selected, the maximum compensation for your shipments in case of damage or loss is capped at EGP 500 per shipment or the declared collection amount on the shipment policy, whichever is lower, provided all compensation conditions are met.

You can subscribe to the ShipBlu Shield service by clicking on "ShipBlu Shield," selecting your desired package, agreeing to the "Terms and Conditions," and confirming your package selection. The service will be effective starting from the subscription date.

If you choose one of the ShipBlu Shield plans for shipment protection, the cost will depend on the selected plan from the available options (see details below). In such cases, ShipBlu will be liable to compensate you for the shipment's value in case of loss or damage, provided the compensation conditions are met, as per the terms of the selected ShipBlu Shield plan:


    - Basic Shield Plan

  • Fee: 0.5% of the collection amount (COD) or the declared shipment value on the policy.
  • Compensation: In case of loss or damage and if conditions are met, ShipBlu will compensate 50% of the collection amount, up to a maximum of EGP 5,000 per shipment.


    - Premium Shield Plan
    • Fee: 1% of the collection amount (COD) or the declared shipment value on the policy.
    • Compensation: In case of loss or damage and if all conditions are met (refer to the link below), ShipBlu will compensate 100% of the collection amount, up to a maximum of EGP 10,000 per shipment.


    • Compensation Conditions

      As a valued partner, we appreciate your adherence to these essential procedures to ensure the safety of your shipments:

      1. Proper Packaging: Compensation will not apply if shipments are delivered to ShipBlu without proper packaging materials or without attaching the shipment policy to the designated section of the shipping bags. Improper handling may result in loss or damage, which will be entirely your responsibility.
      2. Scanning Confirmation: The scanning of your shipment policies by our representative during pickup serves as proof that ShipBlu has received your shipments. Any shipment not scanned is considered not received, and compensation conditions will not apply in this case.
      3. Return Shipments: For returns, damage or loss must be reported immediately upon confirmation (e.g., at the moment of receipt). ShipBlu will not compensate for delays in reporting (e.g., after the representative has left).
      4. Client Reports: For claims of damage or breakage reported by your customers, ensure they notify you immediately upon opening the package after delivery. You must report such cases to ShipBlu within one day of delivery to the customer.

    • Reporting Claims:

      • Submit claims via email to help@shipblu.com, including your account manager if applicable. Attach photos of the shipment, the damaged product, and its packaging.
      • ShipBlu will investigate claims within a maximum of 14 days.

    • Invalid Shipments:
      You are fully responsible for:

      • Prohibited items.
      • Improperly or inadequately packaged items.
      • Shipments exceeding a value of EGP 10,000.
    • No compensation will be provided for such shipments, and ShipBlu reserves the right to make final decisions regarding them after investigation.


      Prohibited Items

      You agree not to include the following in your shipments. Any violation will hold you solely accountable, including criminal liability, and may result in service suspension and legal action:

      • Animals or plants.
      • Perishable food or drinks.
      • Stolen, illegal, or fraudulent items.
      • Fragile items with inadequate packaging.
      • Alcohol, tobacco, or smoking products.
      • Items requiring official permits for sale or distribution.
      • Explosives, flammable materials, or hazardous equipment.
      • Drugs or controlled substances.
      • High-value items exceeding EGP 10,000.
      • Any other items prohibited by Egyptian law.
      • Oversized shipments exceeding 50cm x 60cm or weighing over 10kg.
      • Improperly sealed liquids or unsafe packaging.
